Mr. Indu Shivdasani organized “Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation” in 1976. It was named according to the name of its organizer. The main purpose of the foundation was to help Indian students who are interested in higher studies. This foundation offers scholarships to the students who are interested in higher studies in Europe and USA (America). Beside that, this foundation offers some scholarships for study and training in Arts and Sports to Indian students. Students, who are intended to study Fine Arts, Music, Theatre, Film Studies and Sports, also can get scholarship from Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation.

Inlaks Scholarship for Indian Students for Studying in America or Europe:

Indian students who are intended to study any Post-Graduate course in Europe or America (USA) may apply for “Inlaks Scholarship”.
To get this scholarship, candidates should have good marks in Graduation. Age should not be above 30 years as on 01.07.10. Scholarship is offered for 2 years.
Candidates will be chosen through Interview. Interview will be held in Mumbai. Application Format can be downloaded from www.inlaksfoundation.org

Inlaks Research Travel Grants for Indian Students:

Students, who are interested in research work in universities of Europe or America (USA), may apply for Inlaks Research Travel Grants. This Grant is given for studies in various subjects of Humanities and Social Science. Students, who has been doing PhD. since 2 at least years can apply for this Grant.
Applicants have to obtain first class in both of Graduation (Honours) and Master Degree. Scholarship will be given for maximum 3 months. Candidates will be chosen by interview.

Scholarships details for studying in Mexico:

Almost in all universities and educational institutes in Mexico, the medium is Spanish. That’s why if candidates want to study in Mexico they have to learn Spanish Language. To get Government Scholarship, candidates should know Spanish language also. The Government of that country offers Scholarships for studying Post Graduate courses and Ph.D. courses. Scholarships are offered for studying these subjects-Agriculture, Biotechnology and Electronics Engineering.

Criteria: Candidates who obtained at least 65% marks in desired stream can apply for scholarship. Age should be within 26 years. The amount of scholarships is for Post-Graduate Courses-6,576 Mexican Dollar and for Ph.D. Courses-8,220 Mexican Dollar. Candidates have to apply in the months of June-July.

The Govt. of Mexico offer Scholarship to the international students, who are interested for studying Master Degree and Ph.D. Courses in Mexico. Indian students also can get Scholarship for studying in Mexico.

Scholarship has been offered for studying these courses:
Agriculture, Biotechnology, Information Technology and Electronics Engineering. Willing candidates have to obtain at least 65% marks.

Scholarships for Studying in America, International Fulbright Science and Technology Award

Scholarship for studying Computer Science in USA, Fulbright Science and Technology Award:

Students who want to study (research) with Computer Science, can get “International Fulbright Science and Technology Award”. Applicant should obtain at least 60% marks in Master Degree in his subject. There is no age bar. Applicant has to score well in Toefl or IELTS Examination. If any applicant has not sat for these two examinations, they also can apply. But in this case the candidate should qualify any one of these examinations before starting his/her Ph.D course. To apply for this scholarship, applicant should have valid passport.

USA Govt. will provide the scholarship for first 3 years. After that period the institution will provide this scholarship. During those 3 years, candidates can get tuition fees, monthly stipend, expenses of VISSA, expenses of study materials, expenses of journey and Health Insurance.
