National Institute of Social
Defense invites applications from the interested candidates for admission in six
months Certificate Course in Geriatric Care
(Full-time) at New Delhi, Bhubaneswar,
Kolkata, Agartala, Bangalore,
Kunnamkulam/Cochin, and Hyderabad.
The National Institute of Social Defence
is an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment,
Government of India.
Eligibility for the Geriatric Care Course:
Candidates have to pass High
School/Matriculation or any other Examination equivalent to Secondary
Examination.
Preference will be given to
candidates working as Old Age Care Givers and /or in Social Sector.
Age Limit for the Course:
Candidates should have completed
the age of 18 years as on 1st October, 2013.
Upper Age Limit: Not more than 45
years as on 1st October, 2013.
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be made through a
Common Aptitude Test (CAT) to be held at New Delhi,
Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Agartala, Bangalore,
Cochin, and Hyderabad on Sunday, 22nd
December, 2013 followed by Group Discussion and Interview.

November 11, 2013 and last date for receipt of the duly filled-in application
is December 4, 2013. Last date for receipt of Application from North- Eastern
Region and Andaman & Nicobar
Island is December 9,
2013.
