How to apply for Job Seekers:-
There are many sections like Job Seeker, Employer,
Institution etc. on the website.
If you are a job seeker or finding job please click on “Job
Seeker” option at left side. Then fill the online form. After successfully
submission of the online form candidate will receive a Temporary Enrollment No. Then go to your nearest Employment Exchange office and
submit all necessary documents along with the Temporary Enrollment No.
Then after validating your registration they will give a user Id and a password.
You can log in using your user Id and password later and view or update your
profile and details or you can see jobs that match your qualification.
You cannot change inputs in the fields like : Name, Father’s
/ Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, qualification / experience (already entered
ones)
You can update your profile in the fields: Mobile No. /
email, address, language proficiency, physical measurement, experience detail
(can add new) etc without verification by the Employment exchange
You can update fields like - Qualification detail (can add
new), caste/OBC, Physically Challenged subject to verification by the
Employment Exchange again.
If you forget your password and are unable to recover it go
to your nearest Employment Exchange for assistance.
Candidate can search jobs by location, by qualification and
by sectors at present. If the place of employment is within West Bengal, jobs
can be searched upto the district level. If the place of work is outside the
State, jobs can be searched upto State – level only.
Mobile and e-mail will play an important part in this
portal. All information will be delivered through sms / email. Such information
will be missed if you do not give neither of the two. In case of any change in
mobile No. or email ID please update your profile accordingly.
