Medical Study in Russia, China, Philippine and Bangladesh:

After Higher Secondary or Graduation, some students wish to study Medical course in abroad. These students can imagine going outside India for Medical studies. They can go to Russia, China, Philippine, Bangladesh. After completing their studies successfully, they may practice in India. Indian Medical System was controlled by the organization “Indian Medical Council”. Medical Studies and famous Medical Institutes in China:

Duration of MBBS Course in China is 4 years including 1 year internship. The medium is English. But in daily life, a very few people of China speak English. So, to make students wok properly, there is a necessity to learn Chinese language. While studying MBBS students may learn Chinese language. This facility is available in almost all universities.

Qualification:
To study Medical Course in China, candidate should obtain 50% to 60% marks in total marks of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidate should have the ability of spoken English and understanding English language. Courses is started in September and there are two semester per year.

Expenses:
For Medical Studies in China, the total expenses are about 4 to 5 thousand US dollar. And the expense of staying in China is about 500 to 1000 US dollar. In 2008-09, 25 China Medical Colleges offered admission to Indian students included. These are China Medical University, Suan Ji Medical University , Jilin Medical University etc.

Medical Studies in Bangladesh:

There are 15 Government Medical Colleges in Bangladesh where willing students may take admission. Indian students may take admission in MBBS and BDS courses in Bangladesh. The course duration is 5 years included 1 year internship. Total expense is about Rs. 500000. Students, who passed Higher Secondary in Science stream, may apply for admission. Admission Notice is published in November.

Rules and Regulations of Indian Medical Council and Eligibility Certificate

Rules and Regulations of Indian Medical Council for studying in Abroad, Eligibility Certificate for Medical Study in Abroad:

According to the Medical Council Regulation 2002 of Indian Medical Council, before going to abroad for medical studies, students should have the Eligibility Certificate form Council. To apply for this certificate, applicants can download the Application Format from this website www.mciindia.org 

Applicants have to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 which is drawn in favour of “Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi”.

If the students wish to practice in India after successfully completion of studies in abroad, candidates should apply for registration after passing screening test organized by National Board of Examination. 

For screening test candidates need to have Eligibility Certificate for going to Russia, China, Philippine, Bangladesh.
